EVALUATION

 Feedback on the Print

In addition to the questionnaire for the music video I asked the audience for their opinion of the digipak and promotional poster. From talking to them I gathered some feedback

  • The majority of the audience knew that the digipak and poster belonged together; they gave reasons such as that they have the same font and colour scheme. They also said that they complemented each other
  • The colour scheme was highly commended, it received positive feedback. The black, pink and white colour scheme was seen as feminine and powerful. I was told that it look sophisticated because having too much bright colours can be off putting and unpleasant to look at.
  • The font had mixed reviews; I had positive feedback for the font on the poster. People found it easier to read from far away, they continued to say that the pink and black text stands out on the white background. On the other hand I had mixed reviews for the digipak, some people struggled to read the ‘everything lies’ text on the front cover, they said that the font could be slightly bolder.
  • The audience were able to identify the poster and digipak as a pop or R&B genre, this is because the choice of photographs, some also commented on the bright pink being used to convey the pop genre.
  • My digipak was rated 8/10, I had comments that commended my digipak, especially the back saying how professional it looked
  • My poster was rated 7/10, I had comments such as the collage of the picture unique and different and the poster design was simple and unique.
